Vice President – HR Administration & Strategy
Bill joined Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in 2002 where he served as a Training Manager for several divisions within the company. Bill's career with Wal-Mart continued as he moved to the role of Human Resource Manager supporting Sam's Club in 2005 and was subsequently promoted to People Director Sam's Club Home Office in 2006. Bill was promoted to his current role as Vice President, HR Administration and Strategy for Sam's Club in 2008 and is responsible for Recruiting, Compensation and general HR support for Sam's Club Home Office. Throughout his career Bill has been instrumental in the areas of recruiting, development, team development, and performance management.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Bill served as a Learning Manager with Willams Companies in Tulsa OK and help positions as Registrar /Academic Counselor/Recruiter at Rogers State University in Claremore, OK . Bill has a passion for education and has served in an adjunct faculty capacity at Northwest Arkansas Community College and Rogers State University.
